Learn History from the Sky!
In December 2021, Germantown Historian Thomas Shannon, Tony Albino (FOHG Trustee), and Ethan Dickerman (Trustee) collaborated with local filmmakers to record aerial footage of historic structures in town, some listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The video begins with westward views of the Reformed Church Cemetery, then to the c. 1800 Barringer-Overbaugh-Lasher House, the c. 1755 Simeon Rockefeller House, and concludes with the c. 1767 Maple Avenue Parsonage - sites that represent Germantown’s long and rich history.
